Voice dialing does work for me. I just hold it in and it says voice dialing, then I heard the iPhone tone.
A2DP is available if you update the device on the website. I’m having trouble getting the Jawbone to trigger the iPhone 3GS’s Voice Control mode. Should this work? I just hear the Jawbone voice say “Voice Dialing” if I hold the button for a couple seconds, but nothing happens.
I love my BFU-Z wireless headset so much which can play music 13 hrs continuously (guarantee) with rain-resist ability and lifetime warranty. Search “BFU-Z” in youtube for more info.
I looked at this headset after my Jabra BT530 broke.
It was the fact that this Jawbone does not currently support A2DP that made me purchase a Jabra Extreme instead of the Icon. My phone already announces who is calling me and the Jabra Extreme has multi-point pairing along with A2DP. I listen to music using it all the time. While at lunch, it is great to pass the time.
If and when A2DP is finally added to the Icon, I might take a closer look at it.
Video was very good and covered the options well. However, it should be noted that the clarity of this Jawbone isn’t good. The features are great but not good enough to overcome the clarity issue. I spend thousands of minutes a month on the Bluetooth…clarity it key! Does anyone have any suggestions on how setting can be changed to enhance clarity?

Great review, I actually have this and it works pretty well for me. I used to have another bluetooth but experienced similar problems. Money spent well.
I see you are using this with your iphone. I am too, however on longer calls (45 min +) I have found that I lose pairing and it repairs itself in about 10 seconds or so. Anyone else had this issue with the iphone? I am trying to diagnose if it is the phone or the headset giving me issues. I never have a distance of more the 2-3 feet between the phone and the earpiece.
I would like to hear a sample of the audio! Is it possible for you to talk on the ICON with some background noise to demonstrate how your voice sounds on it and how well it cancels the sound?

Hi,I have Jawbone Aliph,the first one and I love it. But it’s more than 2 years old and had to glue some parts,but hey! 2 years in few hours a day use is quiet a bit and so am shopping for new one. Does this one have that “noice shield” feature? I like this device a looottt. And yes,great presentation

Nice review Mike. The battery indicator on the iphone is awesome thhat is oone of the best things about my apple headset. I will be relly cool if they do update it to be an A2DP unit like the BlueAnt Q1
Which program do u use, i have The Ace and my sissy has The Bombshell, I am in the Beta, before I got the icons i made a request a week b4… i have been using Jott because Dial2Do only has a limit of 100 contacts jott is unlimited… Tell me what u think once to sub to the programs :0)
