@Archangel101576 Warrior, certainly,. did not lack charisma, or appeal. Appeal? are you kidding me? UW was the BIGGEST thing in The WWF from 1989-1991. He was more popular than Hogan was at that time. Thus, UW became WWF champion. The 1st man to pin Hogan clean.
And, Christ, McMahon says “He has a NATURAL CHARISMA” right in this DVD.
Hogan was dull, a bad ring technician, as well, and sucked on the mic. With that said, both Hogan and UW are LEGENDS in the business, like them or not
I know few will agree, but the Ultimate Warrior lacked the charisma, personality, wit, and appeal of Hulk Hogan. Say what you will about Hogan, but the reason he was so popular was because he was someone all Americans could like and admire. Hogan – or his WWF character, at least – represented strength, courage, perseverance, and patriotism. The Warrior often behaved like a mindless buffoon, and has proven himself to be just as idiotic outside of the ring as he was inside of it.

yea his CHARACTER. it is just a show, you understand that right? he was portraying a warrior, not a business man…acting in other words which is what they all do, put on a show. UW’s show was the best n if u really took any of their “interviews” seriously i dont know what to tell you. if you need a cohesive interview look him up when he did regis n kathy lee. other than that name someone who had a better character!

His character?? You mean an insane nutball who couldn’t do a cohesive interview to save himself?? He was crap in the ring, like Hogan was, totally useless, the mic should have been his high point, but my god he was laughable on the mic as well.. I love this dvd.. shows what a total dick UW always was..
i wonder why this hasn’t been taken down, i think wwe purposely leaves vids up!! they want warrior demonized to the fullest extent possible…

I used to be a huge, HUGE Hulk fan when I was a little boy….then I saw this guy. Hulk went flyin’ out the window!!
I bet Hogan was shaking in his boots when he heard the pop from the fans when Warrior made his way to the ring. Hogan was really jelous of Warrior and intimidated because he knew Warrior would eventually make his way to the top spot. Not to mention Hogan’s pop was beginning to slowly fade in 89. The fans were beginning to see to much Hogan. Hogan did make wrestling what it was back then getting butts in the seats.I don’t take anything from I think was great. He was and is very “political.”
The Ultimate Warrior and his strife with other entertainers represents great individualism vs great interpersonalism. Warrior is a great individual, but couldn’t get along with others.
In Survivor terms, Warrior outplayed the others to get on top of the profession, but he doesn’t outwit them by sustaining good business relationships. Whether, he will outlast the others is still

@gchav002 I agree man. Look at the wrestlers back then. Ultimate Warrior, Higan, Andre The Giant, Piper, Bret Hart, Macho Man, Ricky Steamboat, LOD, Sgt Slaughter, Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect etc etc etc. Definitely the glory days of wrestling.

@Rahab111222 i’m not sure if you think the last initial is what caused all the change but if that’s what you’re implying then you’re an idiot!!! whether the world wildlife foundation had sued the wwf or not, whether it be wwf, wwe or whatever you want, the product would still be where it’s at today!! the wwe is trying to make it more family friendly because of all the deaths over the years, the bad publicity as well as more sponsors!
When the Ultimate Warrior stopped wrestling, I quit watching. He was absolutely the best one of his era, sorry Hulk Hogan fans. And that music is legendary, I’m sitting here at work and when I saw this it brought me to lots of childhood memories. The best wrestling days are over.

Somebody needs to ask all these guys if Warrior is such a joke, how come McMahon wanted him for the hall of fame this year. That doesn’t say much for the “credibility” of the company or their hall of fame now does it. I’m glad Warrior told them to go to hell.
