How enlarged does the iPhone battery last before to replacement?

Ok I usually baught an Iphone 2g from somebody and it had a lot of junk that I did not want, so I went to the restart page an due erasing all the memory. Now the censure is that the been erasing the mental stop for rounded off twelve hours already, it usually shows the apple [...] What is the many suitable holder/ passage for my iPhone 3GS while regulating twelve miles or biking enlarged distance? Something shock proof, or H2O resistant but can be carried easily. The Armband things seems so bulky, does any one have any ideas? My iphone 3g last about 3.5 hours If I have make use of of the internet or about 5 hours of music? Is that normal? Has my iphone got battery problems? Please help!
